WELCOME TO PROFESSOR MEAREG AMARE FOUNDATION
Professor Meareg Amare Foundation is established in February, 2023 in the memory of Professor Meareg. He was born in a rural village of Aditsehafi, Axum, Tigray. He was among the three full Professors of Analytical Chemistry in the country, well-respected academician in his specialization, cold boldly murdered by Amhara armed groups in his house in November 3, 2021.
Professor Meareg Amare Abrha Foundation Is a non-governmental and nonprofit Private Foundation established for outreaching and improving quality of education in Tigray, the epic center of protracted civil wars. -It is inspired and organized by the family members of late Professor Meareg to building science laboratories, collecting and donating teaching aids, granting annual scholarship, and making donations to other nonprofit organizations.

Currently, Our foundation operates exclusively online, and there is no physical office. We have streamlined our processes to be accessible through our website and conduct correspondence primarily via email to provide assistance and support.
We have created multiple layers of transparent figures within our foundation and have enlisted the help of local foundations that pass our vetting process in the standard of action based problem solving tendencies and with your help, we are able to efficiently coordinate the dispensation of fair financial and material supplies to the affected demographic we have in mind to assist.
